Newcomers beware, expect the un-expected! Saudi is the place where you can find inexperienced drivers, intending to turn left at intersections, cutting cross the advancing traffic from the inside lanes, this is the major cause of accidents.
Lane discipline is not strictly followed here; hence caution is always advisable at intersections.

The Round about (Circle) sign enforces one to give way to traffic already circulating. Saudi Arabia operates a four-way traffic light system at crossroads. Drivers are allowed to take the right most filter against the red light. However be careful since drivers using this filter do not have priority over the vehicles coming up.

Again, It is necessary to keep a close eye on your rear-view mirror while overtaking on the inside lane.

Accidents
In case of a road accident, do not move your vehicle until the police arrives, wait besides your vehicle. If there are injuries, get an ambulance by dialing 997, and contact the police department by dialing 999. Note: when someone is injured, all parties, irrespective of culpability, may be subject to temporary arrest.

Go Ahead and Aim to Drive Safely :)
